Recently our service personnel scheduled a Saturday service call to replace the z axis bearings on a Okuma cadet. Caldwell Machinery understands the need to keep your CNC machining centers and turning centers operational. Sometimes there just isn’t enough time during the week to fit everything in. We also took a call on Monday telling us that the z axis was working great.

We recently received a call from a new customer in the great North West. He had a router with a Colombo spindle problem. The nose of the spindle had been damaged only leaving three threads on the spindle shaft.
I felt certain we could repair the spindle at our Los Angeles offices. We discussed the time frames required to ship, rebuild and return the spindle it to his facility. At that time we offered him a solution to his spindle problem which would cost less and be done locally .
